Our Function and Buffet Menu

For private functions and special occasions we offer a wide range options including the sit down menu described below. We also offer a range of hot and cold buffet options for those preferring an informal meal choice which is shown at the bottom of this page.  We also cater for vegan and vegetarian diners. Please contact us for more details.

Our function and buffet menu options are available in our Library (up to 12 for private dining) and our Garden Suite (For up to 50 guests). There is a supplementary room charge shown below for exclusive use of these facilities.

FUNCTION MENU CHOICES

We offer you a choice  of two Starters, Main courses or Dessert choices depending on whether you require two or three courses. These two choices must be taken by the whole party. 

2 COURSES • £35.00 per person
3 COURSES • £39.00 per person

STARTERS (Choose three from the following)

Tomato and red pepper soup, lovage verde

Serrano ham, semi dried tomatoes, Laverstock park mozzarella, basil pesto

Tandoori spiced mackerel, tamarind squash, red onion salad, mint yoghurt, cucumber

Vale of Camelot blue cheese brulee, chicory, celeriac remoulade, pear, candied walnuts

Maris Piper potato and leek soup, chive crème fraiche

Free range chicken and leek terrine, pickled mushrooms, rapeseed mayonnaise, toasted brioche

Smoked salmon mousse, pickled cucumber, horseradish crème fraiche, rye croutes, dill

Beetroot, whipped Vulscombe goats cheese, orange, toasted hazelnuts, raspberry vinaigrette

MAIN COURSES (Choose three from the following)

Breast of chicken, smoked cheddar and thyme potato gratin, streaky wrapped carrots and asparagus, red wine sauce

Dry aged beef fillet, potato rosti, shallot jam, buttered kale, red wine sauce

Hake, garlic and herb crust, roasted cauliflower, leeks, crispy capers, spinach and garlic sauce

Potato gnocchi, tomato fondue, spinach, burrata, lemon and herb oil

Tenderloin of Dorset pork, charred apple, Maris Piper mash, tenderstem broccoli, cider sauce

Rump of Lamb, basil crushed potatoes, caponata, grilled courgette, red wine sauce
